You’ll need not only your technical skills, but also marketing, sales and financial skills to manage the expectations of your overseas clients and recognise market opportunities. You’ll be involved from product development through to packaging, quarantine and regulations, both in Australia and overseas.

This job is at the leading edge of new business development and you’ll need a multidisciplinary approach. You could be involved in import clearance of chemical shipments and fresh produce, the handling of import/export documentation or dealing with shipping lines and customs agents.

If you have a real interest in consumers as well as an intuitive understanding of what works (or doesn't!) in specific markets, then this could be the role for you.
