This is a great job for a ‘people person’ with a friendly personality, who is also technically minded.
You’d be not only selling and managing product portfolios, but travelling and talking to businesses and building relationships with your clients. You’ll be listening to the needs of the market place and helping your company to develop new products to meet these needs.
You could be involved in product development, by taking product concepts through to final product launch and analysing the sales of new and existing products. You could also be involved in a new food product development project or in organising media advertising or sponsorships.
If you’re interested in export sales, then knowledge of other languages and/or cultures will be helpful.
